An unique operating system for everything

After the term accounts, Satya has made some declarations in which he has been sure about its objective for Windows, create an unique system for all the sizes of screen, a challenge full of hope and expectations, do you dare to imagine?

Following the results of the last fiscal quarter and annual results, we can see that Microsoft continues to move forward with giant steps, steps formed by large challenges and goals which are being achieved… but now Satya is facing one of the toughest challenges, the creation of a single system for all devices, a system that can convince all users that achieves to get a large market share and that it monopolizes good reviews.

After Windows 8.1 and its change with the inclusion of the Modern UI interface, they were and are many critics falling over Microsoft for the operating system, personally I think it´s because the user changed their comfort zone to an area of learning wanted to jump, so that many of them learned the useful interactions with the system and others chose not to dedicate some of your time and keep using only the traditional desktop.

Now Microsoft included a small tutorial to upgrade to Windows 8.1, which is useful for those unfamiliar with the system, since in short steps could learn some of the most interesting tools offered. But despite all Windows 8.1 is slow growing, taking a share around 12%, but Microsoft has a big challenge ahead, get your love future operating system.

So far each platform had its operating system, still being interconnected with one another, they failed to fully integrate, and that´s the goal, to get “a single operating system for all screen sizes, a single machine with the same architecture” said Satya exact words.

So in the future Windows we could see a full integration of platforms, we don´t know whether they will be all at once or be interconnecting with time, but eventually that seeing differently Windows, Windows Phone, Windows RT and Xbox, developers can now work for an app that can be used, although differently across platforms, creating a full integration.

Although we know very little regarding the same, this change would give the same core to all ecosystem Windows, helping developers who will have to create only a single development with different characteristics, and therefore that users will enjoy more apps and programs you enjoy, work or do what we need.

Definitely I think that the future unification will be important for the future of Microsoft, giving positive for all features, I hope you continue to work hard, and who can do a great marketing strategy when launching it, since they have much work if they want to get a similar share to that of Windows XP or 7, while both will have to continue to enjoy Windows 8.1 and all the new offers.

What would you like to see in the future united system?
