Office for Android, what will it mean?

After the official launch of Office for IOS, Microsoft wants to keep capturing market with the launch of optimized Office for Android tablets, what will it mean for the market?

We all know that Microsoft is mainly an enterprise of Software, for that reason one of its assets in the market is the creation and incorporation of its programs and applications for users and enterprises. And one of its jewels is Office, the suite office by excellence, and what better market where we are inside of Android, which has an important bass of tablets.

According to The Verge, Microsoft would be preparing a version of proofs in which would be polishing the details and adapting it to the maximum in the tactile world, although I suppose it would be a similar and adapted version of Office for Ipad, which had a great reception.

So we will find as an advantage a considerable increase of subscriptions to Office 365, since for the edition and in addition to the suite will be necessary to be subscripted, while if we use the free version, we only can see the documents.

As a negative point, I would highlight many users of Android don´t see the necessity of using a laptop or a desktop computer with Windows for its domestic use having Office in its tablet, although I consider a tablet like an expansion more portable of the pc (with the exception of Surface Pro) I think that many would decline its intention of bought of pc and similar.

Also I keep seeing negative that Microsoft launches before in Android than optimized for the tactile interface Modern UI, for which we keep using the normal version but with the possibility of using the tactile screen, although I understand that we don´t pay subscription in tablets with Windows 8.1 and RT and that the quota of market of tablet with Android is very superior.

We conclude that Microsoft is an enterprise, whose objective is maximize benefits, and I clap the idea of launching Office in tablets Android although I see some negative points, certainly create many new subscriptions and will continue trying to attract those users who use Google Docs
