How are windows and other OS partitioned? And browsers?

They have just got out data on how both browser market share is distributed Windows to December 2013, and no doubt they reveal good data to start the year.

Regarding the operating systems we see how Window XP still falling for the benefit of Window 8 and Window 8.1. that both together get a share of 10.15%, no doubt an increase explained by the wide acceptance of the new system from Microsoft. The leader is still Window 7 with 49,26 % of the total market share, which is still being praised by the majority of users thanks to the full compatibility of programs and fear or fear of change involved the great Window 8. Most companies still maintains this system for the issue of some incompatibilities with programs although the vast majority are already compatible with Window 8.

Perhaps the fear of change, but I strongly recommend you to try Window 8.x, because most of the people that has tested Window 8. x for an acceptable period, has preferred this system, much more functional and useful for touch screens, which exploited its full potential. Also it takes short time on the market, it will take this year to see its evolution, which at the moment is more than acceptable.

My predictions for this year will be that Windows 7 will continue to grow, although to a lesser extent than Window 8.1, because the thrust of sales that is having the Wintablets and ultrabooks together with the acceptance of this system by the user.

In general we comment that Microsoft still has a 90,71% of the quota of total market, and this is not expected to change course, but it will have to be vigilant this year because, as I said in previous post, the market of desktop computers and laptops decreases due to the great popularity of tablets.

Now we will talk a little about the course that is taking the browsers, specially from explorer Internet, which has given a radical change in its last version 11 for the better.

This latest version has managed to mix all the positive of the previous ones with greater speed and optimization, plus run exceptionally on touch screens, which through intuitive gestures we can move through the network quickly and efficiently. This version comes already installed in series on new systems both desktop and portable \ / tablets which has caused that it has increased its share rapidly to 10.42%.

We see how internet explorer has a quota of 51,07% with all its browsers together, and how it is competing with the version 8, with more than 20%.

Finally, encourage you to upgrade your browser to the latest version, the 11, which he shall  give many joys in terms of performance, optimization and where you have touch screens will enjoy sailing with their intuitive gestures.
