Lumia Black and Windows Phone 8.1

Nokia upgrade all its range Lumia with big novelties and Microsoft confirms that all Windows Phone 8 can upgrade to the future version 8.1, certainly two big news that will improve the experience that provide us smart-phones with Windows.

Today they have just known both news, which will encourage even more to know and try the experience that offer Windows Phone. To start Microsoft confirms that all smart-phones with Windows phone 8 will be able to upgrade to 8.1, thing that it didn´t occur in the case of the before generations which stayed in Windows Phone 7.8.

The other news is that Nokia is still with charged batteries and has just begun to release the new update Lumia Black for the Lumia 1020 and 925, although eventually reach the family Lumia. Note that this update includes the ability to put folders on the home screen, improved camera. Bluetooth LE, notifications on screens lock, Nokia Beamer, StoryTeller….etc, no doubt this video clarification improvements, enjoy it.

My vision about these upgrades is that they are following a good strategy to promote Windows Phone, in particular by not segment the different versions of the OS as it happens with Android, so they will have no problems developers to prepare versions of their programs.

Also I think they should promote the helps the manufacturers offering them the OS at a reduced price, so that some work with Android to save costs having the Android operating system free, no doubt many manufacturers try with this system. Moreover it helps that other manufacturers take any smart-phone with Windows Phone, so that it increases the variety to choose, although I highlight that Nokia is offering some excellent terminals at a very competitive prices, and that currently it has a 90% of the quota of Smart-phones with Windows Phone. 

What do you wait for? If you have a Nokia Lumia 1020 or 925 upgrade already, if on the contrary you have another, you may expect that within weeks they will release it for everyone.
