Surface 2 is complete

Microsoft said in its moment that together with the second generation of surface would arrive such a version with LTE as the power cover mouse, and after some forgotten time.

Various photos confirm it, Microsoft is starting to distribute Surface 2 with LTE, which will launch the next weeks in the American market, and I understand that in some weeks it will valuable in the rest of territories.

I remember that the tablet will have the same specifications than Surface 2, with a plus of including the link LTE/4G, which will permit us to surf in any place at a great velocity, so we see that the tablet will continue to keep a Tegra 4 processor of 4 cores with 1,7 Ghz, 64 GB of store, 2 GB of RAM, Clear Type Full HD screen and Windows RT 8. It comments that its price would be around 679$, 130$ more than its latest version without LTE.

So we could follow enjoining with this great tablet but with an indispensable added for some users, those who used to travel or need from a valuable and powerful link for its professional work in any moment.

In this release you will also binds other accessory that many people had been waiting for, the power cover, keyboard capable with included battery able to increase your battery Surface 2 by 70% or 60% for the Surface Pro two. So we would spend the 9-10 hours that offers Surface, about 17 hours or so, completely forgetting to charge the device for several days of work or leisure.

The price which would achieve this keyboard would be 199$, 70$ more than the Type Cover, although for those people who don´t wish they depend on a charger after an intense working day, they will opt by the power cover, offering them a experience more durable.

Do they follow a good strategy these launches?

From my point of view, I see such positive and negative points. I will start with the negative highlighting which to my look have a high price comparing to the versions which have Windows complete in tablets. I think they could reduce the price 100 € each version making it more valuable to the user, who would cost less work to buy the Type or Touch cover, something indispensible to benefit the Surface.

Like positive point I see the inclusion of that system to Surface, something indispensible for certain people who require to be linked in any moment and with a good link, moreover it is always positive the ability of offering to the consumer the great possible variety of a product. Next to this I highlight the power cover, a keyboard with a minimum thickness able to contribute with an autonomy with which you can forget from charging during a small period of time, something very grateful to link small dimensions with great autonomy.
