Saudi Airlines bets on Microsoft

One of the largest airlines in the Middle East, Saudi Airlines, has decided to be guided by the Microsoft software, betting on a multitude of services in order to improve their effectiveness and efficiency, do you want to know more?

Despite having always been a consumer of Microsoft, Saudi Airlines has decided  to go for smart business solutions of Microsoft, so it has chosen SQL Server 2012, Power BI for Office 365, Windows Server 2012 and Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013 with which you can have a more comprehensive and organized all its functions control.

In addition, these tools will help them to analyze, visualize and share data in a unified manner, giving a clearer view of the overall business of the company, while saving millions of dollars.

According to Muhammad Albakir, executive vice president of Saudi Airlines, the BI solution is providing them dynamic control boxes, business reports and customer reports so that managers can more easily view and decide on the details of the company.

The characteristic of the same subsidiaries are like Saudi Catering, Saudi Cargo and Saudi Ground Services, also they will make use of the technology, remarking the great results which they are obtaining with its application on Saudi Airlines.

Finally I comment that the company is using a Windows 8.1 application in order to obtain and provide consolidated real time so you get a very high mobility of enterprise-wide information.

It seems that many major airlines are betting both software and hardware Microsoft, claiming the comfort, safety and great results they offer and making them more efficient firms. I think it´s just the beginning of a large deployment of services by large companies, which consider that if they want to improve and grow your best option is to go for the services that Microsoft created.

What Microsoft service would you like to have in your business?
