Technology takes over Royal Caribbean

Microsoft has confirmed that Royal Caribbean will perform a deployment of 40,000 Windows tablets with its employees, but that´s not all, it also updates its fleet to be the latest on technology; do you want to know more?

If a week ago Microsoft announced the agreement with Saudi Airlines, now it´s turn to one of the big cruise lines, Royal Caribbean, which will replicate a total of 40,000 tablets with Windows among its employees in addition each tablet, will have access to several apps Office 365.

Definitely, the cruise line hit with the acceptance of a tablet built by HEXA, mixing thinness, lightness and productivity. They believe that competitive offerings were no rival for the price of Windows which also was offering a fabulous flexibility.

So employees could benefit from Office 365 among other apps, like Onedrive or Skype, so they might mix their personal and professional life, since Royal Caribbean has strengthened all connections to be broadband.

And in addition, its last fleet called “Quantum of the Seas” is equipped with the latest technology, on which is a bar in which you can enjoy cocktails prepared by robots, internet broadband, screens 80 exterior windows that will simulate cruise, RFID tags for monitoring our bags....

There are still little things for gamers of the family, and it is that Royal Caribbean will provide Xbox One connected to Xbox Live One in which you can enjoy the multiplayer or watch streaming content from offshore with friends.

I think this breakthrough in cruise fleet from this company will make you have a distinct advantage over the rest, with the support of the latest technology as tourist attraction, where an unforgettable experience, that´s “Quantum of the Seas” and from November it will begin sailing in international waters.

What do you like the most of Quantum of the Seas?
