Statements of future: “We won´t have three operative systems in the future”

In an interview with Julie Larson-Green (vice-president of devices and studies of Microsoft) suggests that they are thinking of doing in the near future, in which speaks of unification but we don´t know to what extent.

They are sure that their future depends on actions and ideas through which in the past became “the big one” computer science and technology. The know that they can´t stop in a world where the environment evolves at a rapid pace and where the traditional pc market declines by switching to a more flexible and mobile world. Although they claim that the pc market will remain they know have a greedy market where are coming (as it is that of mobile phones and tablets) in the present and want a piece of the pie.

If a few days ago in Redmond they specified us good data that were reaping with Windows Phone (3 billion downloads, 190,000 apps, 500 new apps every day…) today have made it clear that they want to continue reaping good data with an issue that long has been talking about: the unification.

They already said they were attempting to unify the shops to create a more complete content, combining Store Windows with Window Phone, also that could open the door to the system Window RT, which compares with the Ipad in terms of safety, quality of the OS, this unification may be a key piece in this necessary change for sales to rise.

Also it said that the vision they try to make a reality is getting a system secure, with great autonomy and portable, so they will try again to capture a market increasingly demanding.

So it said the phrase: Microsoft has Windows 8 and Windows Phone, Windows RT: “We won´t have three”….. I think without a doubt that they are in the right direction though a hard way to go….. what do you think?
