Steve Ballmer: “the bet for Xbox was my decision”.

After an interview with the present CEO of Microsoft, Ballmer makes clear some of his decisions during his command, in particular the Xbox brand.

Among the rumors about his possible successors before his imminent departure,  Ballmer has given an interview in which wanted to give a review to their slumber, and in which it has clarified that the bet on Xbox was his decision and that he had some errors of management how when it left Window Vista.

About Xbox I knew that it was a easy bet, that it would consume much credit and that it was risky, but he saw an opportunity in an industry on the rise. He knew that if they didn´t act, Sony and Nintendo would eat him land in the sector of video games by removing quota of players on pc.

Although currently the image that has this segment looks good, and even seeing the data after the recent sale of Xbox One, hide some chilling numbers spent in development of those who have not repented, in large companies if no betting by “I+D+i” and you take difficult decisions it is very difficult to be able to innovate and introduce products that are on the top.
