Microsoft research, converting ideas in reality.

Many may think that Microsoft is only engaged in the creation of software and hardware for computers, but has many divisions and today I bring you one very special, Microsoft research, which is in charge of transforming innovative ideas into reality.

What is it?

Microsoft research is a division of Microsoft dedicated to the research applied to fields of science equipment, problems and technology, seeking to create products or services that can improve our life through brilliant minds.

Since 1991 this division has been working and investigating the most ingenious gadgets that you can imagine, always counting with brilliants experts in specific materials like mathematics, computer science and physic.

What has it got to create?

Between crowds of projects they highlight some like the contributions of kinect, development of vaccines of VIH, development of holograms, projections in any surface and studio of virtual movements between many others.

Now I present you a project which I paid much attention, illumiroom, a projector that wanted to expand the television image of all the living room to make you feel immersed in what were watching or playing, but had to be discarded since the costs were very high face consumers.

Other great discover, even for me, was a announce in the final of the SuperBowl in which is shown many advances that had created and perfected, such as child prostheses that have been created with Microsoft´s technology, the hearing device that allows women to recover hearing or the tablet that recognizes the letters with the look and helps communicate to paraplegic people, certainly a very emotional video that shows Microsoft is not only Windows, Xbox and Office.

This video shows all the potential that Microsoft has in the area of investment, which I hope it continues developing and advancing as much as possible.
