Anxious to use Windows Phone 8.1 ? Try it now!

Toolbar, custom backgrounds, message encryption, improved design, Cortana….are some of the new elements in the new version of Windows Phone for smartphones, will you be the first to try the preview version?

We have already launched the preview version of Windows Phone 8.1 to developers, which is intended to enable them to analyze, create and adapt their services on the new features it offers, but virtually everyone can test this version, do you dare?

First you should know that it is an earlier version, not the final, so some features may change and improve when the final version for users out, if despite this, can not wait and need and try it, I´ll tell the steps you need to follow.

You must have configures your Smartphone for developers, having 3 ways to do two of them pay (taking account of the developer or having free Smartphone)and having a free account on the App Studio.

Once you have one of the above mentioned, you have to download the app “preview for developers” to make it work, you ask for your account associated with App Studio and accept the terms of the license.

I advise having plugged the phone to the current or maintained with 100% battery, since the update consists of two parts and it could take a long time and consume a considerable amount of battery.

After updating and completing the previous classical configuration we will face a packed news  system, which we can use to see to what level has advanced operating system from Microsoft.

To start you can try the new toolbar and notification center, with hits that will make fast our interactions, also can benefit from personalization with new wallpapers, which are able to give very different sensations according to pictures we want to display. You can also enjoy the new keyboard and new feature, with which “you will fly” writing.

Something that some people will miss at first glance would be the new virtual assistant, Cortana, but do not worry, if you try the new virtual assistant will have to configure only your device to the USA region, activate the GPS, data and know English, since by now Cortana only speak this language. Microsoft confirmed that Cortana would only be available in the U.S., in 2014, and in 2015 and disembark in other territories adding languages respectively.

For those who don´t be in a hurry, the official Windows Phone 8.1 update to come right now, so just a few months to enjoy this change that will redefine the direction of Windows Phone.
