Windows for the “Internet for things”

Microsoft presented in the Build 2014 other great initiative such as Windows, coming into other way where any device with internet can work, collect data and analyze through the operating system of the Redmond, Windows.

About Microsoft says:

“We are bringing Windows to all a new kind of small devices. It builds a smart coffee mug, builds a talking bear, build a robot or build a completely different thing. All this using a platform and tools they already know and like”

With this movement, Microsoft wants to get the integration of Windows in almost any device, through its program Windows on Devices (placed in the Azure platform), with which we could use any of the devices linked with Internet.

The intention of Microsoft would be coming into a market in which Android and Linux have already begun, so there is a enormous potential. The market of the wearables and robotic is even beginning and Microsoft will start its bet with wearables giving support to the Galileo platform.

In my opinion Microsoft is betting for a market which can have a great potential and that can bring too many good news, we only have to wait for how the developers respond and what they get to create.

Which devices would you add Windows?
